Overpriced and poor service. Regular outages and no accountability.
Last year my rate per kWh was $0.06445 and my most recent bill rate was $0.09756 per kWh - that's over a 50% increase in 1 year. AEP and Gahanna recently teamed up an opted myself and the rest of the city into an "electric aggregation" which on its face appears to be a good idea where we get a better negotiated rate. What is excluded from the notice letter is that the rates actually go UP to $0.11262, another 15% increase. This company is not for us it is against Ohians! Charging over $400 one month and the next one over $500 for electricity! I am bately home. I have my place set at 65? They keep getting richer and the folks have to choose between paying the bill and purchasing food. PUCO is a joke as well. Using slightly more electricity b/c of the cold weather compared to last year. I am so fed up with AEP hikes! Can we have protest?
