Won't stop a company from scamming me. I did NOT authorize a switch and AEP "cant do anything" about it. You're just as bad as the scammers!!!

I would give no stars. They are scammers. The bills are outrageous and even when you pay the bill it doesn’t go down it goes up triple the amount. It’s impossible for someone who is not home to have a $400 electric bill in one month for one person. I question their service and it’s crazy how they get away to be able to charge so much and put fees on that don’t seem to exist. All a bunch of BS

AEP is the biggest joke ever. A tree fell 6hrs ago cutting off power to the block. Not a single thing has been done. All food in the fridge will now need thrown away. As you can tell by the 1.4 star rating this company is a damn joke. I feel even worse for the people needing their oxygen machines because AEP clearly doesn’t care about anything. They will let you sit until it’s convenient for them. By the way no response is needed for your lack of effort and poor service when problems arise.

Beware they are professional SCAMMERS !! My bill is always over $200 for a two bedroom apartment, when you call and inquire about why your bill is so high you get no answer. They also attach other peoples bill to yours. They accepted my payment then closed the account and required me to pay an additional 230 to resume service after I already paid.
