Before we hired a solar company, my wife and I did extensive research and interviewed three final contenders. We chose Aegis because they seemed to present the best mix of competence, honesty, and price. The honesty piece is very important because there are a lot of snake oil salesmen out there. In the end, we were very happy with Aegis and the system they designed/installed. That is not to say there were no snafus. I recommend AEGIS Solar. Dillon was the least pushy sales person I came across yet he was very patient and answered all of my concerns thoroughly. The employees, including office staff, engineering and electrical, were knowledgeable and cared about the quality of their work. Part of the reason I chose Aegis was because it is the oldest Connecticut based solar company. Now that I have had the system for over a month, it has performed exactly as promised!

I did a lot of research and talked to many solar contractors before I decided to go with Aegis. Here are the reasons: 1. They were very competitive on price per kilowatt. 2. They have lots of experience installing PV systems. 3. The staff was very knowledgeable and always answered my questions promptly and fully. 4. Leslie is just awesome.
