Aegis was a game-changer for my family. My mother was living in an independent living facility in North Carolina--far from me. Aegis helped us at a time when nobody else could. My mom was in an independent living facility and needed ostomy care. Skilled nurses are needed for that kind of support. My mom had other complications and I was juggling her care while working full time. Cathy graciously took my call and did the intake with Wendy who followed up with care including the transition mom made to a care home. Kim Morton and the care team that worked with my mother in Southern Pines, North Carolina were spectacular. My brother and I needed much direction and Kim was always there to help us in her kind and caring way. Her advise was always right on the mark and she guided us in such a gentle and loving way. My mom called her care givers her friends, nothing else needs to be said. We wholeheartedly endorse aegis if you and your family require homecare for a loved one!
I am so glad that I knew of Kim and Amanda at Aegis because when my Mom was in the hospital and we were scrambling around trying to figure out how to manage her post op care at home, all the hospital did was hand us a 4 page list of companies.
