Nothing brings me more joy than seeing a chef go from weekly pop-ups and special events, to opening a restaurant. Congratulations Chef Efe Onoglu! Absolutely incredible Mediterranean cuisine blending the best of Turkish and Greek culinary traditions. We ordered the smoked labneh, Aegean fries, tavuk kebab, and saç kavurma, and a delicious eggplant ice cream for dessert (flavor profile: smokey, caramelized, perfect)! Food was nice and the presentation is quite pretty but considerably overpriced for the quantity and for what at the end of the day was just a lamb pitta and falafel.
The food was good but the portions were very small, so expect to spend a lot of money. The service was okay - it seemed that the staff is not very experienced, and we waited for over 30 min for our dessert, and no apology was offered. I wouldn’t come again.
Absolutely amazing dishes! I’m blown away.! Our server Isabelle is probably the best server in Santa Barbara, it’s rare to find such passion for the restaurant and food in a server, she gets 10 stars! This place is a must! I’m Lebanese and it is better than my grandmother’s recipes (sorry gma). I will be a regular here. Wow, just wow! Well done!
