Very clean, pleasant staff, nice hospital and good treatment
I was given an emergency referral from the optician and was very impressed by the whole team at Moorfields. Apart from a handwritten sign in that needs then to be copied rather than a digital one - it was incredibly efficient. You get signed in - triaged - then nurse tests like blood pressure etc - then doctor visit and tests - further tests if needed - then doctor to go over any results. Very well run and a smooth system to get through a&e. Was out within 2 hours after seeing the doctor and collecting items from the pharmacy. The doctor was very efficient and reassuring and treatment was explained and prescribed very well. The only thing that needs to be improved is the waiting times in the pharmacy - it is a very slow system and took a long time to receive the medication.
