This has to be one of the worst hospital that I've ever been to, they don't care about their patients. It feels more like hurry up. Let's get them in and get them out. Staff is not really that friendly and the fact that you have to go through metal detectors, get in the hospital feels very innovative. You don't feel invited in the hospital. And a hospital is supposed to be inviting safe place, and you do not feel like that.At this hospital , I would not recommend this hospital to anybody worse hospital ever
Is it too much to ask for a chemo patient be treated with dignity and compassion? Or just left in a bathroom floor and forgotten? How about asking to please be moved anywhere but the nurses station hallway and being completely ignored like we don’t matter? Or how about you just are so sick and for 40-45 minutes not one advocate doctor or nurse even bothers with you until your “ nurse” comes back with nothing to say, but I’m gonna take your vitals now calm I tried to stay, but at some point we all have to say enough is enough... read more
Security was shitty, needed a wheelchair to get wife from car. Had at play games with metal doctor before I could get chair to bring wife in for medical treatment
My ER experience here has shaken my faith in the US healthcare system. How can this be called a hospital? Please know that if you're transported here in an emergency due to living in the area, you can request to be transferred to a good nearby hospital like St. Joseph or Alexian Brothers once you regain consciousness. I had no idea going in how bad it was going to be, or that I had that option, given how damaged I was by the accident.
