I was enroute for an appointment with my Primary physician in September at the Healthway location. I checked in at the central desk in at the the main level. Margaret T greeted me and checked me in. Margaret greeted me with a friendly smile, she was cordial, and respectful and had eye contact which is a great human element quality. She is the front line person any business would want a customer/patient/client to meet and be greeted by as a first impression. Advocate definitely hired the right person.
Scheduled an appt the day of because my daughter woke up with a possible infection that needed lab confirmation. Called early in the morning, got an appointment for 1 that same day, great. Then at 12:55 I received a phone call canceling the appointment because the lab closed at 12. Didn’t we know this when I scheduled the said appointment earlier that morning?! Not even an apology. No thanks!
Military Tricare Prime recipients do not go here. They do not follow Tricare referral procedures and you will paying out of pocket. They claim they are part of the network but they don’t follow Tricare procedures and you’re ultimately responsible.
Rude nurses they go to school to learn how to communicate effectively with the public and this locations walk in nurses are terrible. Especially Sara she’s very rude and unprofessional having conversations with workers that are not work related when clearly helping a patient. The CMA’s are nicer they should be the only ones at the walk in care but I know that’s not realistic but I don’t recommend this location there’s many locations but this one has gone downhill bad . If I could give 0 stars I would.
Well this experience was bizarre. My son fractured his arm snow boarding and we didn't think it was broken as there was little pain. We then got it x-rayed as it was bothering him. Turns out he had a small fracture and we went to see a Doctor at Advocate Medical Group in Aurora. He had a follow up apt with the Doctor in which my son's dad could not take him as he was sick with Covid and called to cancel. As this was minor, and we knew it was healing properly with the brace, we postponed and rescheduled to the following week.... read more
