Kind and compassionate care when you need it most. Every nurse, physician, and other hospital staff member was so helpful and wanted to assist us. No one ever wants to go to the hospital, but I’m grateful for the experience we had!
I experienced a very painful fall on Saturday in Old Town after getting off the 22 bus - I fell on my face and was bleeding profusely and in a lot of pain. After visiting an urgent care center for initial triage and primary care - I was referred here for a CT Scan. This was the same day a tragedy occurred at a local Hospital just north of here resulting in the transport of two CPD officers - so mind you the hospital was very busy. This ER staff’s kindness is second nature for them. I’ve never once felt gaslighted nor humiliated for coming in with my concerns & was quickly accommodated for my disability. I came in at night mid-week and was triaged quickly (the fastest I’ve ever experienced/witnessed). From the beginning with the registration desk (S/O Paul), to the nurses and doctor (& S/O Dr Huang), and everyone in between — they were all super nice and welcoming. Dr. Watanabe refused me any help with my pain. Mind you I have a kidney infection, kidney stone and it’s infected my blood. Worst pain I’ve ever felt. RUN AWAY FROM THIS PLACE THAT DOESNT CARE ABOUT YOU IN THE STIGHTEST
