For years, I’ve respected Good Samaritan Hospital for the quality of care they were once known for. There are positives to be acknowledged. I’ve had several visits in the past where the staff was kind, responsive, and professional. PLEASE avoid this hospital at all costs. The lack of care and respect they have in the ER is sickening. You can be dying and they’ll tell you that you have to wait. Careless and ruthless. They treat you like animals in a barnyard. So unacceptable. The fact that a hospital like this can even exist in the US is beyond belief. Not even third world country hospitals are as bad as this. They should be shut down immediately.

I went into the ER for gout in the ankle. This is the third time since March 6th. I cannot get an appointment with my primary care doctor forna few weeks, the walk in clinics will not take me as i have heart failure, and they send me immediately to the ER. During each subsequent visit, my ankle gets redder, more swollen, and more painful. Even both nurses who saw me on previous visits commented hiw much worse my ankle gout looks. Edit- advocate customer service emailed me and then ghosted again- not surprised... Triage nurse wasted 2 hours of my time saying we could wait for an mri when they don't even have one at the facility. Could have saved time, energy and my chronic pain in the waiting room before they brought me back to let me know. Thanks for yet another waste of my time. Then offered me valium instead.
