Doctor Zarzuela is wonderful, but Advocate ruined this office when they bought it out.
After hours/calling to talk to a nurse is a complete joke now. Call back was supposed to be within 4 hours. Its been well over. This is the second time this week. Whenever a child is sick they never have a single sick appointment available and tell you to go to urgent care. Mind you the urgent care is billed differently because they're ER doctors. We will be switching pediatricians. We really miss the original pediatrician office that was here before advocate. Advocate ruined this office.
Be warned that you are unable to directly call the office. If you have a question about the health of your child you will only be connected to a call center. They say that they cannot connect you with the office. Three wait time to speak with a nurse was 4 hours, they called 8 hours later. This was during business hours, not an after hours call. My almost 4 year old got her flu shot last week, and medical assistant Ximena was an absolute rock star administering the vaccine. She has a magic touch, my daughter didn’t even notice the shot, and then spent the rest of the day talking about how it didn’t even hurt.
