I am posting this review for Advocate Beverly Center - Walk in Care Clinic. I was attempting to give Zero stars. My visit started with a receptionist that was absence. The patients were lined up and she was no where to be found. She appeared 20 minutes later , with a bag of food in her hand, to check us in. After a 3 hour wait, with the explanation " there's only two doctors" , my name was called. I have been waiting in the doctor's office for over an hour .... Incompetent overbooking. The medical system is broken.
Moody receptionist but friendly nurses. Once I was seen by the doctor after waiting 3 hours she basically brushed me off and didn’t try to help me even though I was in so much pain. She prescribed ibuprofen. I went to a different urgent care to get a second opinion and turns out I have shingles! My advice is to listen to your patients and really try to help instead of assuming!!!!! SMH do better!!!!!!! I will never ever go here again!
My husband and I have been waiting for well over an hour and half with him having severe right side pain in the stomach area. We are well aware that there is a wait time as we have been here before on several occasions. Our last experience was not as bad as this one. Again, we understand and expect a wait time. However, when you bring it to the attention of the of the receptionist/nurse that his pain is increasing dramatically, please don't tell someone "well he'll have to wait his turn.".
