RV Camping on 4th July. Positives-Staff professional and friendly. Location was beautiful with plenty of forestry and vegetation to feel rustic but close to amenities. Guest are managed but are still allowed to have fun! Negative- picnic tables were falling apart and shower house was not clean or kept in good condition. I travelled from Alabama booked cabin for myself and children. The said on the phone and on line it accommodate 4 and pet friendly. The desk clerk found every reason to cancel our reservation. She was rude and unaccomaditing, racist and did not provide us with an option that was accomadinti g to our family. Wanted us to go to a cabin with no kitchen or bathroom. Just disgusted. He travelled back home.
Couldn’t even step outside the door of this horrible, dark, dirty cabin without being bitten by bugs and mosquitoes. Everything was broken, 1 spoon and 1 fork provided, fridge and freezer didn’t work. No cell service and management was rude and totally uncompromising on refunding money so we could leave and find a place to stay that wasn’t filthy dirty and broken down. We’re out 400$ and now on the road on the 4th of July with no place to stay. Lesson learned. DO NOT STAY HERE! Learn from my mistake. Pictures are on my trip ... read more
