Adventures in Birds This is a wonderful shop for anyone who is a bird owner or is considering becoming a bird owner. They have a helpful, friendly staff, lots and lots of supplies, and a great selection of birds. We were considering adding a blue and gold macaw to our family and Adventures in Birds allowed us to hold a sweet, tame macaw. I would highly recommend this shop to any bird lover.
Big Selection - Big dump The bird selection here is fantastic! However, the store is an absolute dump. When I went - they had cats in kennels with dirty litter boxes and that smell permeated throughout the small, dingy shop. Cobwebs everywhere. Bugs in the parrot food and ridiculously overpriced toys. The staff seems knowledgable, but not too personable. I would probably recommend choosing another store to buy your pet from.
One of a Kind and a lucky find This is a great store. The staff are helpful, the birds are healthy and hand fed, thus great friendly birds for your family. The owners take an interest in all animals and rescue and find homes for monkeys, lemurs, etc. Exotic animals that are no longer wanted. I highly recommend this store.
LOVE IT! Love, love, love AIB. It is an awesome store, with awesome people! Jean is so knowledgeable about birds, it is AMAZING! I will only let her or Gary trim my babies nails, wings etc. I have purchased two birds from them, and have been very happy. The store is a virtual bird paradise! Jean's obvious love of birds (all animals really) is so obvious that she started a sanctuary! Best bird store I have ever been to. I HIGHLY recommend Adventures in Birds!!!!
Worth the drive! Looking for a bird? Skip the chain stores with the bins of birds and take the drive to Adventures in Birds. We were looking for a young, healthy budgie and found just the right bird here. This is a great store for anyone into birds but against birds bread in small animal mills.
Birds to Love and a store to Love I can not say enough positive about this bird fantasy!! It really does not seem correct to call this a store - the birds are well cared for and the staff loves to share their knowledge and interest in the birds. A hand fed bird is the best pet in the world and the staff will allow you to hold and cuddle your potentially new family member. They will also suggest the best way to care and feed and house your new friend. I have purchased 3 birds and untold toys and food from Adventures in Birds.
