Great time renting two single kayaks here. I'm an experienced kayaker, so we set out on our own. The employees were friendly and helpful getting us out on the water and pointing out places we should paddle to. There was nobody else on the water with us most of the time and it was a very peaceful trip. The kayak trail was extremely fun, even for an experienced kayaker, many twists and turns to play with. Overall good experience. Website asks to call before booking. I did so on a Friday morning (July - slow season), and Tyan immediately picked up the phone. Told me Braden (tour guide) wouldn't be back to rent me a board until 11:30am, so booked everything for 11:30 over the phone smoothly and received a confirmation email. My husband and I did 2 kayaking trips through this company. One during the day, and one at night. We got to go all around the mangroves in the bay, and saw some amazing wildlife. The tour guides, Grace (night) and Candace (day), were very informative without being repetitive. We got to see a shipwreck and sail through a magical mangrove trail. Johnny was very friendly and clear with all instructions. The kayak and the board for standup paddling were in great condition. The location is fun with more calm waters and you get to spot manatees on the way.
Wonderful kayak through Buck Key with great guide. Manatee, dolphin, eagle, osprey and many other birds. Highly recommend.
