I have purchased a bike and 2 kayaks from Adventure Outfitters and could not be happier that I did. The prices are very comparable to other stores with similar products. I was not treated as just another customer. All of my questions were answered and I never felt like they were trying to get me to buy anything more expensive than I need. I will definitely be making more purchases in the future and HIGHLY recommend to my friends and family.
RecommendedThree kayaks and other gear purchased from Tim and the crew. Did a great job on a tune-up for my mom's bike - came back looking and riding like new. Good advice on boats and gear from guys who actually use the stuff on the local waters. Used the rental service last summer with a group from work and everyone was very happy. Good quality rental gear, great service and right on time. Glad to have a business like this in town.
I will never support this company. They had an ad posted on Craigslist for Kayaks. It stated one price and multiple kayaks. I called to inquire if they had the one I wanted in stock. They do but the price was not going to be the one posted on their Craigslist ad. And they would not honor the Craigslist ad! Extremely poor customer service. But they did offer me 50% off a paddle! I’m no thank you!

The price listed on the ad WAS representative of one of the kayaks listed in the photo. When the concern was made known to the owner from the employee, he called Heather back and apologized for the misunderstanding and immediately changed all Craigslist ads with the same potential misunderstanding. Unfortunately the apology wasn't accepted and a poor rating was given. We've run ads similar for years without any issues.
Great place for Christmas shopping, tons of great deals!
Love it very nice store and great knowledgeable staff.
