Harry is a great mechanic, responsive for his calls, once he finishes his job on the boat he’s making sure that everything works. If you have a question about anything on the boat, he won’t hesitate to answer. I recommend him to everyone that I know. Once you drop off the boat to him , he’ll update you the estimate price with time frame. I had 3 nice reliable boats that I purchased in the last 4 years, and maintained well bc of him and his experiences.

**UPDATE** per my father’s post. The boat overheated AGAIN on 08/13 after having over 2k worth of work done by Harry. The mechanic at our marina said there was no hose clamp ever attached to the water intake which resulted in it blowing off ruining the impeller costing us ADDITIONAL hundreds of dollars over a $2 clamp. Negligent mechanic. We brought it here in a jam because the beginning of the season there were no openings. Big mistake

my son and I took our boat to Harry after it overheated. There was no major damage, melted exhaust rubber boots. It took a few weeks to repair and after a week or so Harry quoted approximately $800 over the phone. There was a bad seal on the out drive which he repaired aswell. He rebuilt the small carburetor on our inboard outboard mercruiser 3.0 engine. He charged $500 for this. A brand new American made carburetor for this engine can be purchased for about $250 and can be put on in under a half hour. That would be at $150 ... read more
