Yet another terrible service experience. My thought is that one of the biggest reasons for the decline in the number of local bike shops is because the competition with online retailers is a battle that they are for the most part losing. They are losing this battle due to the well known fact that it's just cheaper to buy online as with most things. They aren't going to sell you a cheap bike, but it will last for years while being ridden routinely. They service any bike, unlike Gung Ho bikes.

I called to get my wife's bike in for a tune up as an anniversary present. They were able to fit me in despite it being a very busy time of year (April). The bike was ready for pick up a day before it was scheduled to be done so we could go on a ride on our anniversary. The owner is very helpful and her staff are hard working and very knowledgeable about bikes. This is a great bike shop run by a family that is very knowledgeable about bikes. They have certified workers who fit you to the best bike size. They answer any question and do very thorough service on bikes. This is 100x better than buying bikes from a box store.
