I have been a patient of Dr. Shapiro for seventeen wonderful years and he is the most thorough and knowledgeable Endocrinologist one can only hope for. He takes his time, he is compassionate and explains everything in depth so that a patient can truly understand their condition with confidence. I really recommend Dr. Shapiro, he is very patient, he explains everything very detailed and makes you feel very comfortable.
My experience with Dr Shapiro was a mixed one but ended very poorly. I can respect the fact that he will give it to you straight but there is a line that does not need to be crossed in terms of respect and dignity. Appt 1 he prescribed me the Omnipod 5 and freestyle libre 2. Was a bit of a learning curve, but I was starting to get the hang of it as I was using the Omnipod Eros before.
