The ER room is terrible, outdated, little space for anyone that accompanies you, my husband had to stand the whole 6 hours, no privacy, I had two other people in the room, an old man in pain, moaning and crying, and a lady that was bleeding, from what it was described. 6 hour wait for an ultrasound to check for the low-grade right lower abdominal pain I had (I was suspecting appendicitis), after that I told them I'm leaving. On an evening in early August, our daughter fell and broke a bone; after picking her up she started crying and yelling that she had a lot of pain. Within 5 minutes we decided to take her to the emergency at Shady grove Adventist which is very close to our home in Germantown . As soon as we crossed the door the receptionist was asking our daughter's name and other info which she started entering in the pc as we spoke. She directed us to sit down in the lobby, two minutes later, no more than that, a lady ask us to come in thro... read more
