Worst experience of my life.
I had to take my seven year-old niece to the emergency room at midnight during a Camping trip at Cape Lookout State Park. The emergency room staff treated her like a literal princess from the moment we came in the door. She was given top-of-the-line service by the nursing staff, the x-ray technician, the doctor and the nursing supervisor. They were thorough And communicate with us through every step. Had to rush my daughter here while we were on an over night trip due to an asthma atrack and the front desk lady jumped into action quickly she was sooooo friendly. The nurse was sooo sweet and understanding she made sure to help us quickly to get my daughter the help she needed. The dr and respiratory therapy came in quickly got her steroids and a nebulizer treatment which helped like usual. They are useless. I would rather die than ever come here for any health issues.
When we first moved here, multiple people told us to just go to Portland for care. After going to Adventist Urgent Care and then Adventist Emergency Dept., I won't go again. Both doctors got completely different diagnosis, and they both really dropped the ball on being patient focused. The way they both functioned as doctors, it's clear that efficiency and productivity, on behalf of the hospital system, are bigger concerns than patient care and satisfaction.
