I’m a first time patient at the Advent Health Wound Care Center in Ocala Florida. I was completely unaware that we had this outstanding resource located in my hometown. The talent level and expertise of the staff that directly deliver this care is truly a blessing to me and the patients they serve. Hi, My name is Donovan my experience with the Hyperbaric Oxygen Therapy (HBO) at AdventHealth has been very positive. Olivia, my nurse in HBO department, has been incredibly kind, patient, and professional, always making sure I felt comfortable and informed throughout each treatment. l was at the center one week ago for treatment for the wounds on my left ankle due to encephalitis. The doctor said l needed bandages/ meds. to cover the wounds 24/7. The nurse wrote down the materials needed and said that she would place the order and it would be delivered to my home. EXACTLY 1 week later, l am still waiting for the delivery. Meanwhile the wounds are not treated or covered, probably resulting in a higher degree of infection….
One of the best medical centers I’ve ever been to very good care and professional services .
