My care was good once an ER bed opened up. New Smyrna needs a new hospital and this hospital needs more beds. Staff is good but not enough of them to handle the constant influx of patients. Bigger hospital is key too much population in this area for good care. Maddie the nurse in the ER was excellent, she needs a raise!
Dr. Dillard and The RN, Lastarr we had were amazing when we had to rush there to the ER with my 3 year old with a severe allergic reaction to something. Upon leaving, Lastarr gave my son a hot wheels car and he still a week later sleeps with it because the “doctor who help me gave me it”. The care we received was immediate and very caring! Thank you staff!
