I called to make an appt for an UTI and they can't find me in the system, "are you sure you came here?" 🤦♀️ "I think you should go to your family practice" 🤦♀️ I've been their patient for 6 years, and they can't find me 🤦♀️ better look for another obgyn.
I had some mixups with the front office staff initially, but when I explained this to everyone there they were bending over backwards to help. I recently had a procedure done and the entire staff was very kind and made sure I was okay afterward. Thank you everyone!
My experience with Advent Health has been extremely poor. The team is not mean but completely incompetent. I have had to jump through so many hoops and have been on hold for hours in order to do their job for them. Along with other issues, I was prescribed birth control, which they sent to an online pharmacy without ever notifying me or letting me know that I would have to do anything to receive the birth control. I had the most traumatic experience of my life in dealing with AMITA Obstetrics & Gynecology Downers Grove, specifically Dr Burtch. My terrible experience not only caused me to leave her care but to leave AMITA altogether. *** If you are high risk, do not want a double booked appointment every time, and/or expect to have your doctor reach out after high-risk ER visits or even a miscarriage… please be weary. *** Extremely disheartening, disappointing. I have been here twice now, first visit was with the NP Anna. She was kind, and very straight forward with you. She most definitely tried to help with my issue and give me the facts about what could be causing it: The second visit I seen Dr. Michelle Huang. She was kind, and helped me come up with a start to a plan. Always positive experience so far.
