I went in for a physical with preventive lab work. Preventive services should be covered at 100%. I was charged an additional office visit for the doctor to review my lab work. Advent Health billed this as a regular office visit which resulted in my owing $191. The reading of the bloodwork should be included in the initial preventive visit. Looks like I'm going back to Bay Care. They did not do these deceptive practices.

Billing/insurance staff, Lisa was so rude and cold. They did not want to work with me or change my appointment to give me time to apply for assistance. I didn't finish my appointment and left in tears. Talk about a faith based company with no mercy or grace.
