What a joke. They called me at 7:30a, 1 hour before my appointment, after I had already adjusted my shift at work, to cancel. The reason? They can only see 6 NEW patients each day. Not that they can only see 6 patients, and overbooked, but some kind of rule about new patients that they couldnt even explain why. 560 Bill With No Warning — Is This Normal AdventHealth? I recently moved to the area and scheduled what I clearly stated multiple times was an annual physical covered by my insurance. The visit started off poorly. I waited about 39 minutes before being seen. A nurse came in, asked maybe three basic questions, and then I was moved between three different rooms for no clear reason. DOESNT TAKE CIGNA- ORLANDO HEALTH! Called, asked if they take insurance. Says yes she’s (one of the PAs) takes both Disney. When I get there they say I need to change my pcp on my insurance card ok no problem. Never had to do that but ok. Then someone else says maybe not? They say go do your app we will let you know. I i see her. No one said anything so I left. Blood work ordered. See a Dr again for high blood pressure freak out. Someone calls me today- you need to change your pcp on your card.
