No issue with Lab itself. The Billing department , that's another story. Got paid over 1300 dollars for BASIC Lab work through insurance. Then, forces me to pay another 250 dollars out of pocket. Mind you, other labs would charge less than 400 dollars WITHOUT insurance. Disgusting.
I’ve had one visit to this office since I’ve recently moved here. I have a tendency to get light headed or faint during blood draws. Many other labs I’ve been to have given me the usual “we’ll be fine I’m good at this”. It has nothing to do with the drawer; I rarely even feel anything. This office actually took my issue and allowed me to lay down from the start which resulted in zero issue. I appreciate that extra amount of effort it takes. Hopefully future visits are treated the same.
Started using Advent about 5 yrs ago and they were great in the beginning. I get Labwork about twice a year because am diabetic. Has always been smooth until January visit at this lab. Received bill for over $1200 for basic lab work CBC, Lipid panel, Hemoglobin, Metabolic panel, Thyroid Stim. Has always been about 1/4 this amount. I have spent nearly 4 hour on the phone trying to get this corrected.
