Turns out when you pay out of pocket for a CT scan of almost $400, you're paying for the expenses of the facility and all the other amenities that have nothing to do with imaging, you're also paying for the socks , the religion art work , the clerk picking her nose , the COVID infected Kleenex box , community acquired pneumonia. It goes on. then a few weeks later you get a bill that's from a different state, saying that you need to pay for the actual CT scan imaging procedure which is an additional $300.
