I had booked an appointment for a repeat ultrasound of my thyroid. Upon learning they had booked it as an in-hospital procedure which would cost me $330, I called my insurance company. The insurance company told me if I had it done at their imaging center in Victoria Park it would be covered and be $0. I called to rebook it there. This place is such a scam. My husband and my Father in Law came here, different reasons and insurance and both times the took insurance and then BILLED them way more after the fact. The front desk is a mess. They should be shut down because this is the most shady place ever!

Avoid this place at all opportunity! They attempted to charge me $500 copay for my MRI. I called to ask and they said my 30% coinsurance was based off $1410 or something to the effect. ontop of the $5500+ that was charged to my insurance prior to their agreement.. I called to inquire and they refused to describe what was in this erroneous $1400 that they based a 30% coinsurance off of. I contacted my GP and went to suncoast imaging instead.. They charged pre insurance to total of $1400 and I ended up paying $152 of a copay..... read more
