You have to pay close attention to every billing detail on your account and keep each explanation of benefits from your insurance. If you chose to pre-pay as they request, it is not often applied properly to the account. Great service and facilities.
UPDATE - AdventHealth has responded and made our experience right. We appreciate taking responsibility of the way it was handled and will give credit to them for that. Thank you for taking the time to make this situation right. Hospital was okay but the billing department is unbelievable. We received services there in January but didn’t receive our bill until the middle/end of April. Requested an itemized bill due to receiving bills from multiple places for this visit to verify what was being charged. Requested this at the b... read more
