I came in presenting disoriented and a decline in my executive functioning. I was diagnosed with hyperthyroidism by my primary care and have been waiting for referrals for specialists to go through. I explained my diagnosis and told them "I think the vitamin D prescription I was given is spiking my calcium levels and causing me to have these symptoms." Horrible experience! I must say the charge nurse was compassionate and understanding. Other than that, horrible experience with the PA at the Brandon Urgent Care.
