On March 16, 2023 Dr. Vivian Ramos saw my dog, Toby, for an annual exam. She diagnosed him with a cavity stating the hole was so large she “could park a truck in” it and recommended an extraction. I was made to think my dog was in pain due to a very large cavity and felt compelled to follow veterinary recommendations. Do not take your pets here , They Ruptured my beloved Maine Coon cats heart With 500 ccs of subcutaneous fluid for 5days because they thought he had kidney failure I had to put him to sleep because Dr Romos and Dr Kilbane totally misdiagnosed him
My cat and I had just recently moved to Evansville so I hadn’t had a chance to find a vet. He got very sick one day so my fiancé called all around to see where they could get him in. We got an appointment later that day. After he took a turn for the worst, we called and Advent said to bring him right away. They had us leave him since we couldn’t go inside due to COVID. we love all the vets and techs. You can tell they enjoy their jobs, always so nice. Its a plus that they have long hours. Helps to have late evening appointments.
Everyone there is really nice and personable. We really like all of them and would recommend them to everyone.
Highly recommend Dr Turpen. We take our guinea pigs here. The care that our pets receive is excellent. Staff provide healthy snack of fresh baby carrots keeping Rootie content during his exam.
From my experience there , they have too high of a case load and do not recommend taking reptiles there because all the treatments administered failed in the end. I took my pet ball python to a specialist in another state and said her internal condition from the parasites were too bad and could not be saved and she died.
We have 5 dogs and use this place for all our babies. We went on vacation and one of our dogs got sick. Not only did they refuse to see her, they would not forward records to the kennel so they could get her into a new vet. We asked the same receptionist to have Dr. Ramos call us and we never heard a thing. We really like Dr. Ramos but after this I would not recommend this place to anyone.
