Overall, the interior of the apartments are run down and in dire need of refurbishment. This summer, the management went for weeks without picking up the trash from the community trash dump at the back of the complex thus creating a huge sanitation hazard. Then...there's their questionable business practices which include fees for everything. First, their "security deposit" is not a deposit; it's a mandatory non-refundible fee. Mayfield uses Valet Living and ******** Services for all trash removal. Mayfield utilizes Jetty Surety Bond in place of a traditional security deposit. What wasn’t wrong with this apartment, when I moved in the apartment the apartment was dirty . They took $150 off my rent because they came in seen themselves that it was dirty , the make ready was horrible, I did multiple complaints & everytime they came out problem didn’t get fixed . I wanted to take this opportunity to address this recent review. On the afternoon of July 14th my team made me aware of a resident complaint that was moving in that day. After several phone calls and attempts to meet with the customer at her residence, we were finally able to enter at approximately 4:30pm that afternoon. I was living at Advenir at ************** in **. It is a fairly new complex almost two years old now. I lived there for 15 months in a 3 bedroom apartment. One room which was an office was rarely utilized. I didnt have any pets nor small children and took my shoes off when I entered my home. I lived at Advenir@lacosta and its been ***********************. I have lived here for over two years. Within that time frame we experience alot of problem the maintenance team and the leasing office refused to take care of in a timely fashion.Termite eating up the units including the stairs.. and balcony they are all made through wood. I seen and heard a tenant on the third floor feel through her balcony due to the termites. Other resident unable to use certain stair cases due to life safety issue. This company falsely advertises apartments, steals your application fee, tries to bait you into paying the administrative fee so you can lose even more money, and will not give any explanations what’s so ever.
I have a had problems with this complex every since I moved here in August of 2021 . We have been through 6 property managers. No one is on the same page , paperwork getting misplaced, having to explain over and over to a new manager about your lease and the awful leaving conditions. ***** picks up trash when they want too , my apartment flooded , Ive been over charged . Ive been threaten to be evicted from one of the property managers. No sympathy in the front office , nasty attitudes and a lot of unanswered questions. The ... read more
