I lived at this apartment complex for almost 4 years. It was called ******************** and I believe Advenir Living bought it and changed the name. I lived at the *** at ******************** in ******, ***** for twenty months. I paid my rent on time every single month. When I moved out, I paid all the cleaning fees and everything that the management brought to my attention that I owed them.There is an alleged bill for $167.00 that they never sent me, even though they still had all my contact information (and still do, to this day.) Weve lived here going on 4 years we dont bother our neighbors pay our rent on time and were always friendly with the staff and it has been a horrible experience from appliances breaking and them telling us we have to pay for the parts to fix it even tho we are paying them renters insurance The maintenance workers recording me without my permission and when confronted (which I have on tape) he gets very aggressive and agitated as a young woman who lives here I want to feel safe! This is the worst place you can live. The few "maintenance" workers that they have don't speak English and they don't care to learn. So if you don't speak Spanish this is not the place you want to live. They are incompetent and management is a joke. Work orders take weeks and when they do show up, it's in and out and problem is not resolved. They are great at taking multiple coffee and cigarette breaks. First and foremost, the recurring problems with my AC unit have been a source of constant frustration. My AC has broken down around six times this year, including the most recent incident on 11/2/2023. Despite submitting work orders, they were promptly closed without any resolution, leaving me to endure sweltering heat and humidity in my apartment. I moved here in *************** in June 2022. Things were great at first. Now horrible is an understatement. My vehicle has attempted to be broken into 6 times in 2 months, I've had to call law enforcement out because someone was banging on my door saying obscene things. I've had people on my porch smoking weed. My apt was attempted to be broken into because they pryed the sliding door open. Overall, the interior of the apartments are run down and in dire need of refurbishment. This summer, the management went for weeks without picking up the trash from the community trash dump at the back of the complex thus creating a huge sanitation hazard. Then...there's their questionable business practices which include fees for everything. First, their "security deposit" is not a deposit; it's a mandatory non-refundible fee. There is a $75 application fee for the resident. There is a $75 application fee for the guarantor.... read more
