Dr Barnes is a very well mannered including very competent, knowledgeable and professional as a specialist concerned in regard to cardiology. I believe based on my personal experiences to date that Dr Barnes is interested primarily in regard to serving the patient concerned in regard to thier needs and recruitments and based on this, I any other factor or factors are not her primary reasons in regard to her profession as a specialist in regard to cardiology concerned. Whilst I can't comment on the service provided by the actual practitioner, the service from Advara HeartCare has been terrible. Emails and phone calls have been ignored (or feedback promised that never eventuates) for months despite a referral and a recommendation from a friend of the doctor. Update 1Jul6: After posting the above I had a call from Advara who apologised for the adminstrative mix up linked to a change in personnel. I have been referred by doctor to do cv assessment, 10 min consult, charged $550 then asked to do stress test, I attended the appointment, no follow up. I feel like just paid for nothing no follow up after the first appontment. Just waisted time and money. I tried to call reception no one picks up the phone in the receprion too.

I recently underwent pacemaker surgery with Dr Saklani at SCGH. Very happy with the hospital staff and Dr Saklani. However, I have a complaint regarding my post op. experience. Despite phoning the Wexford rooms on numerous occasions and also emailing the rooms asking for staff to call me back as I have some concerns that need addressing. Still have not heard from anyone from the rooms. Having worked for a specialist surgeon for 36 years, I know the importance of the surgeon's staff looking into patient's concerns.
