Extremely disappointing. My father had a appt this week, but was turned away due to lack of a GP referral. With high genetic risk factors & having had heart surgery previously, we booked the appointment because of family referral which we were told was acceptable around 7 wks ago. + no mention of needing a GP referral at the time... he's now having to wait until Sept for an appointment close to home or another 5 weeks with 40 mins travel. 🤔 Bureaucracy at its finest! clearly not patient focused
