CT scan delayed by a week because the radiographer is sick. Illness can't be helped, but you could organise your health care business to keep diagnoses flowing for heart patients. This is, I would suggest, a moral duty. There must be solutions: Cover staff on a retainer? Partner with other radiography facilities to offer patients their cancellations? Came in for a Coronary CT angiogram... super grateful for it to have been bulk billed for concession. The ladies doing the ECG were really friendly, and Rosemary and Mark who prepped me for and conducted the CT were two of the nicest people I've met. They didn't have to be so kind, but they made the whole experience actually an enjoyable one!
