I was sentenced to ATC in 2021 to mid 2022, a safer plea than going to trial. It seemed pretty dumb and I didn't want to be there..but it was better than actually doing some time! Because I HAD to be there, I did all the things they required me to do with an open mind. And ACTUALLY TRIED to (most of the time =P) apply the stupid crap we had to do to my own situation. ATC in Montrose is the worst kind of joke. There is no way I would recommend this "program" to anyone. It should be named "Anti-Treatment Center." The facilities are run down, the food is worse than jail food and the attitude of most of the staff is lackluster at best. I am the wife of a current "resident" and am located out of state. My husband is not allowed furloughs no matter how much he levels up because he won't go "non-res"..... WHY WOULD WE RENT OR PURCHASE A SECOND HOME FOR FURLOUGHS?? This place has actually genuinely really helped me get sober
There were no males to watch me ua the ladies there were really rude they told me that there would be a guy in at 2 then told me to come back at 2:30 the only place to use in Montrose today and I have to get my head scanned in junction today highly inconvenient.
This place is a joke!! The facilitators are unprofessional in how they “help” the ones who come for help on their addictions or even if they’re court ordered. Even the receptionist bullies clients with such nasty attitude. I mean they are supposed to be professional about the work they’re supposed to be doing. They not only bully clients they charge for classes that they don’t attend. Who is in charge of this place and why does the board not know how these people operate.
