The staff was caring, knowledgeable and kept me motivated while I waited for my transplant. The therapy I received pre-transplant as well as post transplant really helped to keep me strong. My speedy recovery was definitely aided by the therapy I received at the Cherry Hill center. My thanks to the team for their motivation and support.
I was sent to Advantage Therapy after long term issues with my miniscus in both knees. Rocco Gervasi is the most knowledgeable and professional therapist I ever met. Most places you get the "Big Dog" for the first visit but not this time. I had Rocco the whole time. I come to find out from years of dance and power walking, it was all my hamstrings never being stretched prior to those activities.Rocco worked with me for appx 20 sessions. I have worked for Advantage Therapy Centers for 7 years. I have 20 years experience as a P.T. and have to say this is one of the greatest places to go or work for. They give you the one on one care that you don't see anymore. It is such a great team, I love the interdisciplinary approach with Respiratory Therapists, Social Workers, Physical Therapists and now Occupational Therapists. Three facilities located in South Jersey, would recommend to anyone with a Pulmonary Disorder. Plus also do Vestibular and Orthopedic Rehab.
My father had been going to Advantage and working with the team for many years, over 5 at the very least. He had COPD and was awaiting a lung transplant about two years ago he finally got the call. Thank you to all the staff and everyone there that all helped him get into the shape he needed to survive his first lung transplant & totally prepared him for his second transplant...May he Rest In Peace and forever breathe freely. Thank you Rocco and everyone for all that you do.
