Renting from advantage is worse than cancer, they screw you over with secret charges all year and steal your security deposit even when you leave the place cleaner than when you arrived (it wasn't even cleaned). They never spray your apartment for bugs even if you request it at least 5 times, so we shared the place with about 15,000 roaches who scrambled around the kitchen at all hours of the day; it looked like something out of a horror movie even though we kept it spotless. My experience with this company has been pleasant. I noticed a change in staffing recently and things are even better than when I started . When I first started renting here, I had the misunderstanding that the company doesn't own the property. I did have to wait on something to be replaced but it was explained that the owner of the actual property had been contacted for approval. Take advantage of property management , do yourself a solid because these striped belly assholes are worthless. You call about a problem its your problem, rude management, people walking in unannounced, I could write a book but they would want there half fuck that. Do yourself a favor put in the work slim pickings, but you'll be glad you did.

We've been renting from APM for years. -The kitchen appliances are from the 80s and that might be giving them too much credit. The dishwasher doesn't, and hasn't worked since we moved in and the handle is coming off of the stove door. -The only bathtub in the house has 2 cracks in it, one roughly 4 inches and the other roughly 3. We've called about having it repaired and have been denied on the grounds that the owner of the house refused. You will regret it if you rent an apartment from them! I filled out the move-in inspection in details but now that I moved out they charged me for all of those, even after sending a copy of my inspection they claimed that they had fixed those issues. They use some third parties to clean the apartment and steam clean the carpet and the price that they charge is unreasonable!! 120$ for steam cleaning a one bedroom apartment(very very tiny one). 99$ for cleaning the unit that was already cleaned. My sons, Clemson students, have rented from Harts Cove twice. APM robs you of your deposit. I paid to have the carpet cleaned, used who they recommended, told them when it would happen, the guy picked the KEY up from them and they took another carpet cleaning fee out of our deposit. Both times I have personally cleaned the apartment on the last night for 4 or 5 hours each time. The apartments were left spotless!!!! And still, APM charged a cleaning fee both times! They will NOT respond to dispute letters or phone calls! DO N... read more

We are living here now, they just recently took over from the other people before but they do not own it they are just working for the guy that does.
