I am a double amputee and have used the wound center when needed for the last four years. I by pass to closer wound centers to use this facillity and drive 45 minutes to get there. It is by far the best wound center I have used to heal wounds. As a diabetic I have had experiences in four total wound centers. Starting with the doctors, Dr. Barrett and Dr. Richardson. Dr. Afzal and his team are amazing!! He can be a little hard to understand sometimes but the smile on his face always reassured us that we’re moving in the right direction. My husband is a diabetic. He lost his right leg from about mid calf due to necrotizing fasciitis. It was a very difficult experience so when he started developing a wound on his left ankle we were done. They really act like they don't care about you at all. The NP acted like she didn't believe me, and dismissed my wound as just barely being open, and that it would probably close in a week. I felt very uncomfortable and didn't like being treated like that. Then she decided to preach to me about my diabetes and so on and so forth. Well, if it was such a little wound, that would close in a week, why act better then me and argue that food is cheap???? Three strikes your out. Poor. Poor service
