We have had to come here for three different wounds. Although we live in Decatur where there is a center we choose to come here. Dr. Poole is excellent and very thorough. From the time you check in until you leave you are treated well.
Great people - schedulers, nurses, and doctors are all friendly and caring. They have done a lot to get my wounds to where they will support skin grafts, and at first that looked more like a dream than a possibility.
I reluctantly came to have a wound looked at. I had been to ER and to my private Dr. I found the office and found friends, caring and helpful! Dr McEldrew and team were wonderful. The wound tended, stitches removed, wrapped in exceptions and with care. Thank you! It is cleared, clean and done! I rang the bell in the office and will really miss these dedicated healthcare people!
The level of concern and care provided was excellent. The HBOT nurse, Whitney, is so kind and caring. There are two Hyperbaric Chambers so I was able to see her interact with several different patients. She works hard to provide the required care and put patients at ease. Dr McEldrew was also very good. If you are in need of wound care services I highly recommend looking at this facility.
Excellent wound care center and Dr. Pool is the cherry on top. I spent a year trying to get a foot wound to heal. I went to the center every week or two therefore i spent a lot of time at there. Dr. Pool is probably the most caring doctor I've ever been to and I've been to a lot of them. Not only does Dr. Pool care he seems to be very smart and knowledgeable about wound care.
