I went to Advanced Women’s health yesterday for the first time yesterday and I will never go back. I saw Dr. Maikis and I have never felt so belittled and embarrassed. To start she blew into the room like she had better places to be and didn’t introduce herself just asked me what I wanted to talk about. When I voiced my concern about potentially having PCOS she immediately dismissed me and told me any issues I was having with my period were due to pre diabetes. I’ve always had a great experience when seeing Dr. Maikis over the last 5 years. She completed an endometriosis excision surgery for me that truly improved my quality of life, tenfold. The women working in the front of the office are really nice, but it is horribly difficult to get ahold of anyone on the phone for any reason. Highly recommend booking all of your appointments out way ahead of time.
Dr. Binkley and Charlotte are the best. I’d give them a million stars if I can. They take care of you like family. Dr Binkley listens, never forces any decisions on me, always recommends the best treatment approach and always gives me options to choose what works for me. Charlotte is always on top of everything, calls and checks on all labs and results and is great at responding to the portal messages. Always greets me with a smile and good luck wishes. I'm so grateful for the quick and professional care I received at their office. When I called with an urgent concern, the receptionist was incredibly empathetic and immediately fit me into the schedule. The wait was minimal, and the nurse who brought me back was both kind and efficient. I am so thankful for this practice! I was a patient with another Doctor but sadly he retired and referred me to Dr. Binkley! She is amazing, the whole staff is. From check in, nurses, and labs Im always cracking up, hugging, or asking how their families are! They treat you like family. I've had 2 babies with this clinic and one miscarriage. They handled the miscarriage with such care and great bedside manner, and they were amazing throughout my pregnancies.
