Update: 8 yrs later.... there are mold issues and had a service tech out and they said there was nothing they could do about it because it was a defect in the manufacturing. They agreed there is no way to clean it and its a manufacturing issue but said since it didnt affect the "effectiveness of the Window itself" there is nothing they can do. Now I have to live with moldy windows on half the windows I had installed yr ago and you can see it. VERY POOR CUSTOMER SERVICE! DO BOT ORDER FROM THEM. IT SHOULD NEVER BE OK TO LEAVE ... read more
I bought windows from AWS 25 years ago. Recently some of the glass needed to be replaced. I contacted AWS and they sent Rick Prior, Service Manager, out to inspect them. AWS replaced all windows needing replacement. I'm extremely inmpressed that they stood behind their warranty after so many years. And Rick does a great job. I highly recommend.
Really impressed with AWS. The windows are really well-built. We had a tight schedule and they were ready earlier than expected. The installation team was awesome - very hardworking and professional with impressive attention to detail. Customer service is a foundation of this business and it shows!
Doors are made of recycled plastic or vinyl meaning they have that blueish white color to the plastic. VERY cheap materials and extremely OVERPRICED. The salesman today said that bluish white color is paint! If that’s true then they use el cheapo paint. The install team mismeasured the door and then brought the wrong sized one so they had to reinstall the old door and we had to wait more months for the correct door to be manufactured. Installer was very polite and informative about the windows being installed. Work was completed very efficiently. Clean up after work was great. No touch up needed at all after the work was done. I will soon have AWS install more windows. Thank you AWS! Jim W. Enfield, CT.
