Clean, very pleasant staff, and fast!! We were in & out in under an hour!
I went in because I had lost hearing in one of my ears after a 3-day trip to the mountains. The on-staff doctor (whose name I will generously omit) took a look at my ears, said that he/she was expecting a ball of wax or some obstruction, and proceeded to explain that my hearing loss could be parmanent due to sleeping with ear buds. The doctor said that I'd need to set up an auditory test through my primary care provider and sent me on my way in a panic that something was desparately wrong. I’m a 80% disabled veteran and The VA said this place was a VA affiliate and would treat me at no cost billing the VA, However they are not and grilled me on self pay or other insurance means, They told me this before even calling to VA to confirm, They will not treat veterans and are not veteran friendly, UC health saw me right away and shares info with the VA to get the care I needed.
The staff and doctor were amazing. We went for a high school sports physical. The only reason I didn’t give 5 stars is because I made an appointment the day before and were told it would be a while before we went to the back. We arrived 15 minutes early too. That kind of bugged me. The whole visit, from walking in to walking out, was an hour and 25 minutes.
