Horrible staff. I needed to take a drug test to apply for a position and I was dehydrated. I gave them plenty of urine but in the end they were closing and the staff tossed it out and said it wasn’t enough. I begged them to run it anyway as it was more than enough to do a simple drug test. She refused, didn’t even suggest a spit swab or hair test; and when I went back to the employer to explain I needed to try another day, they told me not to bother and accused me of being a drug addict. We had a wonderful experience at Advanced Urgent Care of Marathon. The staff was incredibly kind, friendly, and helpful from the moment we walked in. Karin and Dr. Y were amazing—they carefully and quickly removed the catfish barb from my husband’s leg and made a stressful situation much easier. I was in and out within 45 min. They were so nice and welcoming, which is comforting when you don’t feel well. I would recommend to anyone who needs urgent care in the area.
We were recently on vacation in the Keys when my 11 year old son’s ears started hurting. We went into Advanced urgent care just a few minutes after they opened. There were already a few people ahead of us waiting. I was expecting a long wait but we got in extremely quickly. The nurse did the initial check on my son and advised Dr would be in after. Dr came in within minutes and did a thorough exam and accessed my son had an ear infection. He prescribed antibiotics and got them sent over immediately to a pharmacy near the fac... read more
