It only took two months to get a preauthorization for a chest ct. Hospital took me immediately.
Do not come to this location for they do not even have the machine that does a heart echo test. They tried to send me to another location in Winter Haven 45 minutes away. Several years ago my wife had testing done at this location and it came back inconclusive. That wanted her to have several other test but she went for same test at Celebration Hospital and everything was normal. They tried to scare her into more testing.
Today August 18, 2025 I had an appointment at AT Radiology (Open MRI) at 12:30pm Ladies up front very nice. BUT the ultrasound tech?? HORRIBLE, HORRIBLE ATTITUDE, very rude doesn’t even make you feel comfortable during the ultrasound. I got done a neck ultrasound and she placed a cloth around my neck for the gel but when she was done she grabbed the same cloth she placed around my shirt and basically threw it in my face and told me to whip myself with it. SO DISRESPECTFUL 🤬🤬🤬. DO BETTER!!!!
Got an MRI done here, had gotten prior authorization from my insurance which was approved. Then they billed the insurance under a different name, so the claim got denied from my insurance. Charged $2,100 from my personal account without previous notice, no call or letter received on the mail to notify of my balance due. They make you sign that you are responsible for anything not covered by insurance and they make you add a card on file. Very disappointing experience. I’m extremely disappointed with this imaging center. The customer service is far from acceptable. They take forever to answer the phone, and even when you send referrals to schedule an appointment, they never call you back. They always say they’re waiting on the insurance or the doctor to approve the exam, but the truth is they just don’t follow up.
