This company took a nightmare situation for my family and made it incredibly worse. I hired ARS to mitigate the water damage to my basement in January after the horrendous storm flooded it. They would only do the removal and drying, no repairs, their contract had no estimated price, but they stated they would accept my insurance's quote for the work multiple times. If I could give zero star I would. Please read this! This company tried to commit home insurance fraud through a claim from my home. Back in January of 2023/December 2022 they came to do some water mitigation due to a pipe burst from the severe weather we experienced in DC. They came and vacuumed the water from the home and left dehumidifiers and fans. They didn't do any other work during that time. Considering this, I had to call another company to finish the work. Terrible experience from start to finish. Communication was poor, the crew arrived late multiple times, and the work quality did not match what was promised. After the job was completed, there were still visible issues that had to be fixed again. Customer service was unhelpful whenever concerns were raised, and it felt like they only cared about getting paid quickly. I expected professional restoration work but ended up disappointed and stressed throughout the entire process. Would not recommend based on my experience.
