Never attend Advanced Radiology in Kingscliff. It has taken 5 days plus 2 phone calls to get results for a plain xray. There is nothing advanced’ about this service.

I was unable to book an appointment online, so I called and was told that I needed to take a blood test before I would be accepted. and then I didn't need one and was accepted. I wasn't informed that I had to fast for my scan. So when I called up for a second time, they told me I needed to fast. I also had to ring back for a third time to confirm the appointment. I got 4 quotes for knee MRI including Advanced. All were around $250 for the scan, but $350 if i needed contrast. Advanced refused to disclose how much extra contrast would be and after asking 4 times i was advised that would be $600. very misleading.

As a senior Registered Nurse who arrived from Outback NSW: 1. Incredible tenacity from Larnie who realised quickly I needed to have a radiology referral sorted from another hospital. She acted with aplomb despite the time pressure. Radiographer also respectfully sorted my issue. Thank you for a great and kind service - Fiona
