Dr. Iofin, was suggested for me as my then psychiatrist who is now retired. I have no problem talking to Dr. Iofin, I understand him very clearly. He always asks if I'm having any problems, he listens to you clearly and when you ask him a question, he will answer you and go into detail especially if there is a medication change. I very highly recommend Dr. Iofin, honestly, Dr. Iofin is the best psychiatrist I have ever had! As to the staff, they have never been rude to me. This office discharged me without any proper bridge treatment, leaving me at risk while trying to transition to new care. Since then, I’ve asked three times for my medical records — including my EKG and last drug test — and they still refuse to give them to me. Instead of doing their job, they gave me a lawyer’s phone number. This is completely unprofessional, dangerous, and shows no respect for patients’ health or rights.
The worse psychiatrist in the world, discharged me with out proper bridge treatment and now I’m trying to receive my medical chart for my new Dr and it’s been 5 days since I’ve asked for this information and I still have not received it
Dr. Iofin has been treating me for 9 yrs now. I had been diagnosed before going to him. We worked together until we found the right medications for me. I am much better now than I have been since being diagnosed. Of course I have occasional bad days but he’s always been there for me at that time. I speak with Dr. Iofin every two weeks to a month to get my medication refilled. I enjoy our conversations and he is very pleasant.
